I used to want to change the world, now I just want to point and laugh

It was a gorgeous day today, the sun shone, the sky was blue. I rode my bike to the town hall to pay Buddy's registration. $60 it is now, essentially, for nothing at all. It is just a dog tax. We're taxed for having a dog. I rode to the TattsLotto shop and put my TattsLotto on. My mum's words are in my ears when I put the ticket on, I'm sure she'd say I'm wasting money. Sam says I should buy shares with the money instead. I think the money is worth the good feelings it gives, the, however distant it is, hope that one day the icing could come for the cake. Oh, what do I mean? I'd like an antique Volkswagen, or a small country shack by a creek, or some such frivolous thing. That's what I mean. An indulgence. A silly dream.
