LouLou comes to stay. She has been coming since Saturday, each day she calls and postpones to the next day, today she finally arrives. Her usual modus operandi. I don't mind, and all, well normally I don’t mind, but I am trying to get things done to go away, it is very hard to make appointments. But that is just her way, I know that. I don't care, it is nice to see her.
We smoke pot and drink tea. Lots of pot, and lots of tea.
Sam says nothing.
Leah Brown is struggling financially. I give her one hundred dollars to pay for the pot. I buy groceries for her when I go to the supermarket. I don’t know, it isn’t really much. I’d hate to be struggling financially. It seems so little for me to do, but it is much bigger for her.
I gave Leah my maidenhair ferns to look after, they are the only ones, I think, that will die with no water for five weeks. She is happy to look after them.
