At work at 8.30. The week is going swimmingly. The weather is gorgeous, if a little hot. First week of not wearing a jacket. Summer’s here, folks. Lovely!

i thought that was the case, re: just blurbing it out until you get a frame, in fact Rob said the same thing that that’s how most people write and then i remembered what you said about me writing in blocks, so i think its great that we have the two styles going on. You can hammer out the script and get it to 90 and i can work on the details in blocks as we go. It’s so EXCITING!

we went and saw Wolf Creek last night and got so inspired, that movie is SHIT SCARY!!!!!!!!!

it is sooooooooooooooooooo gnarly, its kinda like an out back fucked up thriller that is on the slasher side too, but the point is they made it for 1.5 million and its a cracker! so we're on the right track we can make this film i know it.

also its inspiring because they reeeeeeeeeeally push the content it’s so fucked up! and the main psycho is John Jarrat from play school!!! (amongst other things sure) it’s worth watching but I don’t know if you'd cope :)

script ideas.

- yeah I see them 18ish, but if they were younger the stakes would be risen, but either way i think the actors have to be 18 so we don’t run into all that child-law stuff, but they could look young.

- what do you think about the idea of Grethel having panic attacks as the story develops, major anxiety, like she can’t take much more of the life style?

- I also think there should be some part where they have fun together, somewhere near the beginning so we endear ourselves to the characters and want to hang out with them because their cool and we like them.

- just toying with an idea also that the step monster tries to get rid of them with child services first, like DOCS or something and because it’s the future they tell her that she must look after her children, everyone has to. And they reject taking them in.

anyway onward and upward have you read the 1st act that i sent you yet?
