Rainy Monday

Today it is raining.

Some people talk about Melbourne's changeable weather as a bad thing. Where, I like it.

I had a school master who said that Melbourne had the second most changeable weather anywhere he'd lived in the world. (I don’t remember where he said the most changeable weather was)

He was the first black teacher to teach in Australian schools, and he was gay. Imaging the pressure he lived under? He was a fantastic teacher, he really was. he came from somewhere that spoke French. He taught French.  But, I digress.

I love Melbourne's changeable weather. It is interesting. It is dynamic. When the weather is much hotter in summer, you know you are only two, or three, days away from a cool change, which is lovely.

Rainy Monday.

I've got the electrician coming today, so I told the office I'd be working from home. Oh, no, I never miss an opportunity to work from home. No, I didn't really need to be here. Sam is home. In fact, as he is going to cut the power for an hour, or so, I'd have been better in the office, anyway, but fuck that.
