First up, I went for a blood test. I rode my bike, the morning was cool, but the promise of a hot day was certainly in the air. It was a starvation test, so I got there 5 minutes before the clinic even opened, and there was an old geriatric chick already there, so I was second in line. Grrr.
I tried to talk myself into a muffin from the best muffin shop in Fitzroy, Stagger Lees, to break the fast, but I convinced myself not to, and I rode straight home and had a sensible breakfast.
I couldn’t sit in front of my laptop and look at YouTube endlessly, after breakfast, more is the pity, I had to get to work.
I worked solidly all morning.
We ate noodles for lunch.
David cancelled dinner in the afternoon, he’s been in Melbourne attending to his flock, but he was exhausted and decided he just wanted to go home. As it turned out, his plane home was delayed until after 7pm, and he hung out at the airport.
I had lots of work to keep my busy until I signed out at 3.55pm, later due to the bloods first thing.
It was hot, an indication we’re in for a hot summer? Maybe? I'm not looking forward to a hot summer. It was hot today.
30 degrees, 31 degrees when we took the dogs for a walk. It was nearly too hot for them, if it had been any hotter it would have been too hot.
Guys were jogging, seemingly in groups. People were walking. The heat brings people out, it’s true. People were everywhere. It is nice to get out in it, I guess.
We ate Thai Beef for dinner.
I watched YouTube.
I watched YouTube looking for reaction to Joe Biden pardoning Hunter Biden until I got sick of looking. It gave me a thrill, I have to admit, for how bonkers it would drive conservatives.
11pm. Lights out.
