This has seemed like a bit of a break, these last few days. As I sit here on the couch early with Milo snuggled up to my left thigh - it's funny how delicate Milo feels when I pat him, after patting the dogs. He has little Quail bones - early, even though it has only been one extra day, Xmas Day. But, you know, I guess that is a good thing.
And it is only Saturday.
We haven't really done much either, not really. Sometimes I wonder about the amount of lazing about we really do. I wonder if it is good for us?
We should have thrown the dogs in the car and driven to northern NSW. I wanted to. But I had to work right up until Xmas Eve.
Anyway, here's to another day of lazing about.
Is it Saturday? Where are we? Are the shops open? When are the shops open? Are the bins being collected? Was that yesterday?
I haven't been to gym for a couple of weeks, I must go. I didn't want to go over the Xmas break and look like a loser who has nothing else in his life. Ha ha, do you like that? That just proves I'll use any excuse to justify me not going. Sam has even been onto me to go, or to cancel my membership.
"You know those payments are being deducted from your bank every week?"
"Yes, honey, I know how bank deductions work."
Oh, yes, but he is right, I really must go. I really intend to go and not cancel it, I've just been on Xmas holidays. Ha ha, more than I can say for work. With an end of December deadline to fulfil, the only days I get off from work for the end of year office shut down are the 6th & 7th of January. For some strange reason, the reason for I seemed to have missed, we'd going back Wednesday 8th January.
Anyway, that's a long way off, yet.
