A rainy, old, country day. We went for walks with umbrellas and gumboots; fed the emus and saw how full the new lake is. I love those days in our bushland when the rain falls and the rest of the world seems so much further away. Tucked away in our forest, Mark and me.
We went into town and had lunch – we got dinner, when we were there. Neither of us felt like cooking. Then we put our feet up, in front of the open fire and watched the day drift by. It was TV until late, with the open fire burning.
