Tide Washing Powder

Tide, washing powder, the hottest stolen product on the American black market. So much so, that these humble bottles of washing soap powder have their own electronic alarms attached to them.

Apparently, they are a basic household item, everybody uses it, it is a staple, and criminals can move large numbers of it.

In a recent sting operation, more bottles of Tide washing powder were discovered than their were illegal drugs.

Apparently, Tide is black market currency.
