Hump day. It seems to take time to get through the week when you are working full time, when you are doing 5 days, 5 long days. Every week day spent at work, it makes the week long.
It also makes it much, much longer when you have to drive there and drive home in all the traffic as well. Even though it really is only a couple of suburbs across, there is still traffic to endure. Ah! The ghastly traffic as my old mate Josh would have said. The idiots, the losers, the selfish, all to be endured on a short drive to the office.
I know how much a 5 minute walk to work is worth.
Having a nice car in which to battle the traffic, is worth a lot.
Having a lovely boyfriend to come home to, is amazing.
A short walk to work, priceless
