I went to get a booster shot today, but they wouldn't give me one. They were only giving boosters to people who'd had vaccines up to 10 days before I had my last vaccine.
"For people who had their second shot up to the 20th," she said. "When did you have yours?"
"I had mine on the 30th."
"No, I'm sorry."
"I'm here and willing to have one," I said.
"No, sorry."
"10 days?" I said.
"I'm sorry," she said.
“So, if I get covid and die?” (chuckle. What of it? The world would still turn, I guess, is the correct answer.) [As David and I always say, Shhhh, nobody cares]
“You can blame the govt fair and square.”
“Fair and square?” I said.
“Fair and square,” she said.
“You say that with a completely straight face when you are talking about the govt.”
We both laugh.
I laugh ironically. She, with her business as usual nursey type attitude laughs nervously.
Well, I thought it was funny.
Not sure she did.
