Fear

Do you think the whole world is dying of fear? It is what sells the news, after all. It sells the sharp rise in conservative political commentary. 

I call the news the misery hour, every night at 6pm it brings the latest misery from around the world into our homes.

And you know, we're all scared of missing out on the housing boom, scared we'll lose our jobs, scared our partner will leave us, scared of what is happening in the world, scared we're not good enough, scared of any number of conspiracy theories.

"We live in unsettled times," the main voice of society says. You know, if you go back to any decade in history, that is what the news has said back then. 

But seemingly, the majority are not scared of climate change. It's odd, isn't it.
